Balance Level Conversion Kit
With this conversion kit, you can change your FlowRow Board to a different balance level. Choose your rowing machine and the desired level – the kit includes the appropriate rubber buffers and an Allen key.
Which balance level is right for me?
The balance level determines how much the FlowRow Board makes your rowing machine sway. Answer two quick questions and we will recommend your level.
1. Your body weight?
2. Your sense of balance? (your best guess is fine)
And if it turns out differently: with an adjustment kit (from €40) you can switch to any other level at any time.
By the way: 9 out of 10 customers start between level 2 and 4 — level 3 is the most popular.

What's included
- Rubber mounts of the chosen balance level — one per board (three for the WaterRower A1)
- Hex key
- Assembly instructions — read as PDF (chapter 12)
Fitting it
The rubber mount is held by one hex screw on the upper and one on the lower board. Unscrew the old mount, fit the new one — a few minutes with the hex key provided, no DIY skills needed. The instructions walk you through it.
Compatibility
Fits every FlowRow Board for the selected rowing machine — including boards made under our licence by WaterRower | NOHrD. If your board carries no balance level sticker, it is Level 2.
