Can I use the Slides version without Slides?

Yes. The Slides version has rubber feet and stands directly on the floor just like the standard board – so you can row with or without Slides at any time. It works exactly the same; only the bottom boards are larger so they fit into the sliders of the Slides. That way you can add Slides later without buying a new board.
